Guidelines for the submission of paper and poster abstracts and CVs

Please note that on-line submission is the only method of receipt of abstracts

Please submit your abstracts on-line no later than Wednesday, 30th November, 2006.

Submission of an abstract confirms your commitment, if accepted, to present, register and pay for your attendance at the Congress.

General Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English
  • To ensure that the selection procedure is as unbiased as possible, all abstract submissions received will be reviewed in complete anonymity.
  • Submissions not conforming to established guidelines will not be reviewed.
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to presenting authors in January 2007. Scheduling details and instructions for oral and poster presentations will be included with this correspondence.
  • Authors whose abstracts are accepted must register to attend the Congress. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the meeting’s final programme.
  • Only the name of the presenting author will appear in the meeting’s final programme.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide the format of presentation on the basis of time and space available.
  • All accepted abstracts will be published in the Congress abstract book. All presented papers and posters will be published in the proceedings and/or on CD.
  • Authors retain the copyright of abstracts and presented papers and posters but permit Autism Europe to publish abstracts and presented papers and posters.
