Congress venue
Norway Convention Centre is our congress venue. This modern and flexible congress centre is located 20 km from Oslo, midway between the airport and the city centre. For detailed information: www.norwayconvention.no.
The train to Oslo takes 12 minutes. The convention facilities are within walking distance from the train station and there are train departures with short intervals in each direction, all day. For information about trains to Lillestrøm and Norway Convention Centre, please enter www.trafikanten.no.
Airport Transportation
Oslo International airport Gardermoen is served by most international airlines. The Airport Express train uses only 20 minutes to the Oslo Central Station. Trains depart every 10th minute. Check the timetable at www.flytoget.no. The current price is NOK 160,- from the airport to the Oslo Central Station. You may also use one of the many direct busses. The bus leaves Oslo Airport Gardermoen every 20 minutes to the Bus terminal, which is located next to the Oslo Central Station. Check out the timetable at www.flybussen.no. The current price is NOK 110,-. A taxi would cost at least NOK 550,-.
Climate
Oslo’s climate is actually better than the northern latitude might indicate. This is due to the Gulf Stream bringing warmth from the Gulf of Mexico up to the coast of Norway. Average daytime temperatures in the end of August and beginning of September, are about 17 degree celsius and lowest average temperatures at nighttimes are around 10 degrees celsius.

220 Volts, 50Hz AC. Standard European 2-round-pin plugs are used.
Passport and Visa Requirements
Entrance requirements are best checked with the Royal Norwegian Embassy or Consulate in your country. Please contact Congress-Congress AS for letter of invitation. For EU-members and North Americans no visa is required.
Language
The official language of the Congress is English, French and Norwegian.
