Autism-Europe and persons with autism and their families wish to express their thanks to all the participants, advocates, parents, practitioners, scientists and experts who attended the 8° International Congress of Autism Europe, coming from everywhere in the world in order to share their experience and up-date their knowledge in the fields of research, training, care and policies.
Special thanks to all those who contributed, with their unanimous engagement and unreserved collaboration, to making our 8° International Congress a unique opportunity for all persons involved with ASD, as well as an extraordinary event during the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All.
This Congress represented another step forwards towards the full respect of persons with autism in a world of possibilities in which no-one is neglected or denied the full enjoyment of their fundamental and human rights, and is a further contribution towards making the discrimination and exclusion of persons with ASD a thing of the past.
